artistic CV up to 2013
is choreographer, dance educator and artistic researcher. She studied biotechnology at the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences, education for modern dance at the Conservatory Vienna and a.pass, advanced performance and scenography studies an interdisciplinary postgraduate course in artistic research in Antwerp.

In her choreographic work she created a series of abstract works dealing with the view on the body and its physical spaces (körperseiten 2002, zwischenräume 2002, inner space/ outer space 2004, microscopic view part 1-3, 2005-2008), followed by a series of creations focusing on the body’s representation in media and gender constructions (shifted views 2007, views in process 2008, bodies resituated 2009, gender jungle – wo/ man 2010. Currently she is working on socio-political issues (let’s dream 2012, hansi and me 2012, or ever young 2013) and in transdisciplinary contexts of artistic research (collaborating within the research project Features – Vienna Face Project and since 2015 Performing Surgery – Movement Research in the Operating Theater).

She received twice a foreign scholarship for dance from the Austrian Federal Ministry for Education, the Arts and Culture, 2008 she was artist-in-residence at K3 - Centre for Choreography | Tanzplan Hamburg at Kampnagel, 2010 she was nominated for the Prix Jardin D´Europe and 2012 she was invited to the Choreographic Platform Austria CPA.

Doris led workshops among others at the Conservatory Vienna, Tanzquartier Wien, Siemens Arts Program, Alternative Dance Academy 2013, art stations foundation, Posen and she joined the school project I like to move it, move it at Linz 09, European Capital of Culture.

Her works have been presented nationally and internationally: ARGE Kultur Salzburg, Festspielhaus St. Pölten, ImPulsTanz Festival Vienna, Tanzquartier Vienna, WUK Vienna, Cialo/Umysl Festival Warsaw, Incubate Festival Tilburg, Mousonturm Frankfurt, Kampnagel Hamburg, The Place London, Something Raw Festival Amsterdam, Stary Browar Poznan, Working Title Festival Brüssel, and at museums: Museum of Applied Art Vienna, Kunstverein Hamburg and Lentos Museum Linz.
